Haverhill, MA (March 7, 2006) - InstallerNet, a division of MobileToys, Inc., announced today it has entered into an agreement with KVH Industries Inc. to deliver professional installation services nationwide for their automotive satellite TV products.
KVH will utilize InstallerNet’s patent pending InstallCard process and advanced technology to allow their customers to conveniently identify qualified local installers and schedule their installations. Many of KVH’s installing dealers are already members of InstallerNet and those that aren’t already will be invited to join.
“While KVH’s TracVision® A5 clearly has mass appeal, it typically requires the assistance of a certified professional installer to ensure the best possible installation and help vehicle owners realize maximum value” stated Bill Erdman, VP of Business Development for InstallerNet. “This partnership will allow KVH to expand sales into non-installing channels of retail by including the InstallCard at the point of sale. As a result of being able to offer professional installation at a standard price, InstallerNet is uniquely positioned to help manufacturers increase retail sales and increase customer satisfaction.
KVH currently markets its award-winning TracVision A5 low-profile satellite TV system with DIRECTV® service through a network of installing dealers. “We selected InstallerNet for our installation solution because of the depth of their installation network and the merchandizing power of the InstallCard,” said Spencer Lee, KVH’s Director of Sales for Consumer Electronics, “solving the installation impediment to retail sales now opens channels of distribution significantly”. Future InstallCards may be added to include KVH’s TracNet™ 100 Mobile Internet Receiver with MSN® TV Service, which is scheduled to begin shipping for retail sale in mid-2006.
